§ 51.03.

DUTIES OF MAYOR

a.

The Mayor, or his or her designee, shall be responsible for the administration of the Voluntary Arts Contributions Fund, and shall have all such authority as may be reasonably necessary to carry out those responsibilities.

b.

The Mayor shall promulgate such rules and regulations as he or she may deem appropriate to carry out the provisions of this Chapter. Such rules and regulations shall be developed in consultation with any appropriate agencies or organizations with which the Mayor, or his or her designee, may choose to consult. Such rules and regulations shall be designed to ensure that nonprofit arts organizations which meet current eligibility requirements for the receipt of funds from the Publicity and Advertising Fund shall also be eligible for the receipt of funds under this Chapter.

c.

The Mayor shall submit a semiannual report to the Board of Supervisors, setting forth an accounting of the amounts disbursed to each nonprofit arts organization and the uses for which said funds were made.
